Several years ago, one of the largest utility companies in the nation came to us with a problem. They had always discharged nuisance water from utility vaults directly to the street, but were beginning to be regulated by the ever increasing storm water regulations.  We worked with them to develop the first generation filter sock that was the first of its type to successfully integrate both filtering and high flow.  Now, the second generation C.I.Agent EVAC Filter leads the industry in function and performance.

This is an example of how our team grew to include Engineering, R&D, Scientific Testing, and ultimately Product Development and Sales.  The Automatic Storm·Water Diversion System was developed because of the limitations of existing technologies, and because of our background in pipes, valves, fittings and controls. The Trident CurbScreens were developed because we recognized that sometimes the simplest solution is the right way to go, and that recycled materials were the right way to build them. The ECO Pump was developed as a natural extension to the EVAC Filter. Now automatic sump pumps can safely discharge from most applications.

All of this product development required testing. This led to an important addition to our team. One of our principals has owned water testing labs for much of his career.  He understands testing methodologies, and through our work, brought some of his ideas to C.I.Agent Storm·Water Solutions.  Now, under the Aqualytical Division, C.I.Agent Storm·Water Solutions offers unique water sampling tools that take concepts that have been used in the lab for many years to the field. Check out the C.L.A.M. and the Tattletale to see state of the art field extraction tools for water quality analysis.
