Providing C.L.A.M. water monitoring during Deepwater Horizon oil spill in Gulf of Mexico

We have developed a new, separate, two stage filter disk system for the C.L.A.M. specifically for the Gulf of Mexico oil spill situation. The use of this unique technology provides the ultra low detection necessary to find and quantitate the extremely diluted dispersants and oil in the water column.

Organochlorine Pesticides Monitored in Los Angeles using the C.L.A.M.

In the summer of 2011, C.I. Agent Storm•Water Solutions coordinated with the City of Los Angeles to monitor organochlorine pesticides at the end of Ballona Creek where it meets the Pacific Ocean. All 1 liter grab samples came back non-detect while the high volume C.L.A.M. samples found several compounds in low levels.
