This disk is unique as it may be used for the standard EPA1664 gravimetric Oil & Grease determination if it is eluted with Hexane, or analyzed for TPH by EPA Method 8015. Unlike the HLB Disk, this disk cannot go to dryness in the field, as it uses the C-18 SPE media which will lose its analyte retentive capability if the filter goes dry during operation.

Each disk is provided with a Chain of Custody form, and a mailer to a NELAC certified laboratory, specializing in the C.L.A.M.’s high volume elution technology.

The field hardened housing has Luer lock fittings which allow the filter to be locked to the C.L.A.M. body, and interlocking of different filter types in two stage assemblies. Each disk comes pre-conditioned with or without 10 ug of Terphenly d-14 field surrogate added.
